Single Pane Window Replacement
Single pane windows are slowly being replaced by more energy efficient insulated windows. We still replace single pane windows on a regular basis. The bulk of the cost is not in the materials usually, but in the actual labor involved. Typically these windows are easy to replace and relatively inexpensive.
Insulated Glass Replacement
The picture to the left is a cross section of an insulated unit. Many people refer to these as double pane windows. They are usually either tempered or annealed depending on the application. Sliding glass patio doors, for instance, are usually tempered. We normally have to order these from our distributor because most units have to be custom made for each application. The process usually entails us taking the measurements, providing you with an estimate, ordering the unit, and returning 7 to 10 days later to install it. In most cases we can board up an opening if necessary for an additional fee while you are waiting for a replacement unit to arrive.
Storm Windows and Screens
Storm windows and screens are among the most frequently damaged items we see. We are happy to pick the damaged units up, replace the window or screen, and return them to you for no additional fee within a 10 mile radius of 22192. Outside of that radius we charge a small delivery fee.
Tabletops and Furniture Tops
If you have a nice piece of furniture why not protect it's finish with a glass top? We can make just about any size or shape up to about 72 inches and thicknesses up to 1/2 inch with a seamed, polished, or beveled edge. We also offer free delivery within the 10 mile radius.
